Our Guest is Poetess Obsession a twenty six year old Chicago native, who started writing poetry at a very young age. Her ability to captivatingly express her passion by using both metaphors and imagery, which boldly brings her experiences to life, is amazing! She uses her past as her fuel, to write about circumstances that some may never wish to experience, and others may be reluctant to share. The diversity expressed through her work, emulates her profound and powerful talent as she bluntly speaks the truth about herself and the world; while enlightening us to the good, the bad and sometimes the ugly… ~ One stroke at a time ~ Her motto that has become her creed exemplifies the essence of her spirit, “To close your eyes on reality is to close your eyes on honesty, which means you have closed your eyes on me. How can you see what’s real if you can’t see me?” After reading her work, I assure you that you will know immediately; that her pen is her mind and her ink is her tongue!
