Serenity has been touching stages since the age of 5. She plays a number of instruments and has been apart of Malcolm X Shabazz High marching band, Spirit of Newark Drum and Bugle Corps, MXS traveling Jazz band, and several rap/musician groups. She has worked with a number of noted entertainment professionals and executives. "If I change who I am to make it in his business, then I go against everything that I stand for." is what she has always said in response to not changing for success. Serenity has coordinated events for celebrities such as Young and The restless star Davetta Sherwood at NYC's 40/40 Club.
