Black women who raise their kids alone, buy a home, get an MBA, or travel have been getting a bad rap. We are labeled as the Independent Black Woman (IBW). Some guys have viewed us as being unapproachable, stuck up or having a bad attitude. But what about the black woman who just decided that there was no reason to wait for her knight in shining armor before she bought a house, got a degree or traveled? Is she wrong for wanting this? Is she wrong for wanting a man that has at least as much as she has accomplished? Rhonda and Renee will be discussing this hot topic.
