Taft, Oklahoma with Mayor Leila Davis

Today we shall be speaking with Mayor Leile Davis who is the mayor of Taft, Oklahoma. 

Mayor Davis holds the distinction of being the first publically electric woman mayor in the United States Of America. She started out with very little money, but she had a clear vision that she wanted to become the topic electric politians of Taft, Oklahoma which is an historical Black Town.

On today's podcast Mayor Davis will give us the history of Taft and what is happening in Taft today. She also has her sites set on becoming a county commission, which is one of her current visions.
