Sweet Nothings

Michelle Rhee, founder of StudentsFirst, hosted a town hall meeting in Birmingham, Alabama on Sept. 12.  Certainly her empty words of concern and compassion for our poor and/or minority students fell flat on the ears of the teachers that Ms. Rhee just loves to hate.  Like sweet nothings uttered by a cheating lover right before the knife sinks into your heart, Ms. Rhee's visit here is just a diversion to distract you from the millions of dollars her lobbyists will be showering our legislatures with in order to buy our public schools.

Educating the public on the lies and tactics of these reformers is the only way to save our public education system. We must raise our collective voice, the red, blue, black and white, and tell these reformers that our children's futures are NOT for sale!
