The National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC) is a nonprofit trade association that was established in 1969 to address the needs and concerns of minority contractors. Richard Copeland started THOR Construction, Inc. in Minneapolis in 1980. Thirty years later, THOR is going strong with recent annual revenues approaching $180 million and offices in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Minneapolis. Ms. Tina Dortch can best be described as a public administrator/business developer. In addition she has worked for Senator Carl Levin, and Mayor Dennis Archer.
