Humility of the Brain by Nigerian-born author Prince Ezem Ihenacho

Drawing on his personal and professional experiences, from growing up in his native Nigeria to working within the mental health sector, Ihenacho offers a fresh perceptive and a wildly imaginative interpretation of humankind. Humility of the Brain introduces his ‘five fingers theory’ in which he asserts that man’s fingers ’need to be strong and healthy in their individual capacity but must work in a complimentary fashion… for the hand to function at its best.’

Also, a message close to Ihenacho’s heart is that the restriction on education for women is the greatest crime against humanity - highlighting that the only way to reach a peaceful and open-minded future is by investing in universal and comprehensive education.

Ultimately, Ihenacho intends to reinforce his belief that the differences found across the world provide a richness and intelligence that otherwise would be missing from our lives and - reflecting Aristotle’s belief that, ‘The Whole is Greater than the Sum of its Parts,’ - that by harnessing our individual gifts we can work together towards a modern day utopia.
