Podcast #180, entitled “X-Mas or Christmas”, is the first in a series that presents the question: “Is Jesus of Nazareth the promised Messiah of the Old Covenant or a myth like Santa Claus?” Over the past decades a recurring theme has captured my attention; individuals do not grasp the intent, letter and spirit of the law, whether the law is governmental or Biblical, or the purpose of each distinction. That in turn has led alleged “Christians” to sling words around with no comprehension, let alone understanding; words such as love, faith, justice, trust, belief, feelings, emotions, and the list goes on. Such “slinging” has turned Christmas into X-Mas in recent decades, and that “X-mas” is destroying the Nation of America. America the “country” needs to remove the “X” from “mas” and replace the “x” with Christ.

“Christmas is not a time or a season but a state of mind. To cherish peace and good will, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas. If we think on these things, there will be born in us a Savior and over us will shine a star sending its gleam of hope to the world." - From Presidential message (December 25, 1927) of America’s 30th US President - Calvin Coolidge.
