ABOUT TAISON MCCOLLUM

Taison McCollum gives young people chances they never fathomed. A native of Newark, NJ and former inmate who served a few months shy of 14 years for a murder charge, plus an additional two years on a gun charge, Mr. Taison utilizes his skills as an orator to educate young people regarding life behind bars and life after prison.  His presentations are real.  He gets results.  Mr. McCollum travels abroad speaking to young people and families in various communities, schools, colleges and prisions. 

Mr. McCollum's ultimate goal is to educate young adults who are disproportionately at risk for being arrested and sentenced to time in prison.
