HOW TO BUILD A BELOVED COMMUNITY IN AMERICA

Perhaps one of the most notable contributions of the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, is his popularizing of the concept of a “BELOVED COMMUNITY”. Many saw him as a trouble maker, while others argued that he was too passive, however to the contrary, his sole focus was on engaging the idea of unity and mutual respect among all American citizens. While the aforementioned model did not originate with him, has efforts largely brought it to the forefront of thought for a great many. What is needed in America in 2022 is the revisiting of this powerful tool of societal conversion.
