One way of getting the undivided attention of the most at-risk youth in Urban America is to point out to their connection to the wealth and prosperity of America. When they know and understand the fact that they have a likeness to the original builders of civilization, there is a good chance that their attitudes toward learning will change for the positive. Following the educational theory of Dr. Albert Bandura (Likeness in Learning Theory), the lesson of commonality between ancient Egypt and present-day Urban America can be learned.

Join TALK-STRAIGHT host, Rev. Dr. Rueben Dockery as he explains the likeness of their current experiences to opportunities of success.
