Topic: How to Restore the Voting Rights of a Once Convicted Felon

Recently, while on the campaign trail, I was approached by a mother of a once convicted felon. She stated that her son made some mistakes in life; was convicted for them – but today he is a new person who wants to vote! While he has a job and has been working hard to take care of his family for three years now since being out of prison, his felony conviction keeps him from voting. She simply wanted to know “how can he get his voting rights back”?

Please join RUEBEN DOCKERY as he opens the microphone to constituents of Tennessee Senate District 19 - Share your Comments and Questions tonight at 7:30pm (CST)
