Beyond Winning - Coach Dwayne Cherry discusses his role in coaching basketball

Coach Cherry is the Head Basketball Coach at Charlotte Country Day Academy, where he is also a graduate. He also teaches Mathematics there. He played on the football and basketball teams. He received a college scholarship to play football at Guilford College. He also attended North Carolina A&T. Coach Cherry offers his insight on building his team, especially in light of the recruiting process and social media. He talks about the how the community where he grew up helped to develop him as a person and player. He talks about the players that really embrace playing defense and doing the things that don't make the highlight reel but contribute to the team's success.
