2012 Ontario Summer Games

With its motto, ‘Dreams Begin Here,’ this year’s Ontario Summer Games will not only build  a legacy of athletic achievement. It will also recognize unmatched volunteer excellence.

About 2,500 athletes, from across the province, will converge in Toronto and surrounding regions from August 16 to 19, to compete in 28 sports— that will see everything from the precision of archery, to the rough-and-tumble game of rugby.
 

These games take place every two years and are awarded through a bidding process.

• For many, the Ontario Summer Games are the pinnacle of their sporting life and they are excited to be participating
• For others, the Ontario Summer Games are a stepping stone for the Canada Games, Pan Am Games and even the Olympics
