Attorney Sarah Avraham and writer Bennet Pomerantz discuss the subjects of the day.

The audience should know that although Ms. Avraham is a licensed attorney, she is not offering legal advice in any capacity, is not establishing an attorney/client relationship with anyone listening to the show, and recommends that any listener of the show consult a local attorney for any legal advice they may require.

This show is about us discussing hot topics and how they relate to the law.

The South Dakota state legislature approved the country’s first restrictive bathroom bill by a 20-15 vote in February.  The bill bans school children from using facilities catering to their gender identity, restricting those students to single-occupancy, unisex bathrooms or facilities meant for the school’s faculty only with the school’s permission.  Did the bill become law in South Dakota?  What does a bill like this mean to other states as well as the citizens of South Dakota?  Tune in to the Legal Show to find out.
