SOTU 2015: Continued Growth of US Economy & Keep America Safe

The State of the Union Address is an absolute necessity. Those who don't want to watch, don't! Those who object to it being aired and say we don't need it are the ones who are will remain less informed about our economy and the safety of Americans at home and abroad. When Americans have troubles in our land and abroad, Americans call on government. Americans don't call on private industry. Even private industry calls on government and rightfully so. We are the United States of America and we should be thanking God that our fore fathers did get this part right. Americans in need today are not due to America not being able to provide. America has the wealth and the knowledge to lift every American out of poverty. Too many Americans don't have the desire / backbone to put poverty behind us. There are occupational roles with goals to oppress; goals to keep people fighting the battle with a short stick; roles where the leaders have pivoted to self now, self tomorrow, and self forever, and that includes all their namesakes.
