Poverty Sunday: All Across America

SundayPrayers, all across America. Poverty Sunday. Americans travel to places of worship. Prayers are prayed for wants and needs and thanks is given for blessings received. We pray for the poor in our prayers. We pray for ends to wars and we pray for guidance for our leaders in our prayers. We pray for those in poverty in America and all over the world. We lift our voices in praises, recognizing there are those less fortunate than we are, but our prayers go out to the poor. Do we pray to see poverty grow or do we pray to end poverty? What changes do we see Sunday after Sunday, year  to year when it comes to poverty in America?
