Choosing a grassroots approach, Shae has been wowing audiences 1 by 1 with her lovely voice and rhythmic guitar. Her music is a soulful brew of genres, and her debut album "Catch a Ride" is getting rave reviews. Singer/songwriter Shae Fiol is one of the most exciting new artists to emerge in 2009 from the NYC area. Her debut album "Catch a Ride" is getting rave reviews, featuring collaborations with grammy nominees/winners Meshelle Ndegeocello, Stuart Matthewman, and Rockwilder. Her music is an eclectic brew of soul, Latin, jazz, folk, and pop. She was recently named a finalist for Best New Artist of 2009 by SoulTracks online magazine. Her songs can be heard on last.fm and Music Choice. A native of Oregon, Shae has been performing in the NYC area for 5 years since moving to Brooklyn from the west coast. She has opened for India Arie, Dwele, Eric Roberson, and Van Hunt.
