Wayne Dyer said, "When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It's to enjoy each step along the way." Dancing and chanting are two of the most natural human expressions that can profoundly affect our spiritual growth and wellbeing. Seasoned facilitator and devoted sacred dancer, Irmina Ulysse (Tutu) of SoDoTutu UniverSoul Dance and Ritual™, offers artful and spirited opportunities to release barriers and help us to free our most authentic, soulful and joyful self. SoDoTutu is a continuation of a lifelong project - an experiential healing initiative that uses dance, chants and healing rituals to support personal growth, spiritual development and healing. Join us as Tutu talks about sacred dance and how we can enjoy each step along the way as we use it for healing our mind, body, and soul.

Irmina Ulysse, originally from Haiti/Ayiti, has lived in the US for over 35 years. Her first name means noble and complete and inspires her unique expressions of Ayitian Folklore and Sacred Dance.  Her dance training is typical of many dancers and like many dancers she has been dancing as long as she can remember. Formally, she studied Ballet and Modern Dance at various schools. Later, she naturally gravitated back towards her love and passion for Ayitian sacred dance and chants, and uniquely adapting them based on her study of sacred dances, rituals and natural healing modalities from ancient African traditions and from the Caribbean. Organically, her dance gatherings has evolved to primarily focus on ritual, trance movement and chants. To learn more about Irmina/Tutu, check out her website at http://irminaulysse.com/
