In this segment of the D-spot meet artists who have used their dreams in their chosen work. Meet painters, poets and musicians who have received images, words and musical scores in dreams and who have practiced the 'art of recollection' to turn their dreams into reality. Hosted by Poet and Writer Joan Gelfand, this show will include a call-in period for questions and answers.

Travis Wernet is a Certified Projective Dream Teacher, Author, Musician and ordained Unitarian Minister offering workshops, individual sessions, online and local groups. His work draws on a diversity of practices for exploring the wisdom of dreams. In 2012, he led a workshop on Sound Healing and Dream Work at the International Association for the Study of Dreams Conference in Berkeley California. Having recently returned from international travels co-leading sound healing ceremonies, from the Baha’i Lotus Temple in Northern India to the Great Pyramids in Egypt and a coastal busking tour of Eastern Australia, Travis continues to expand upon the meeting place between dreams and music in a unique offering of contemporary musical dream incubation as a compliment to both shamanic and projective-style, discussion-based dream work. Sound Healing techniques are applied within the context of the Dream Work, providing a rich opportunity to experience and share the Deep Self. Travis also incorporates Shamanic techniques for 'dreaming while we’re awake' and has facilitated groups for 20 years, bringing a mythological-archetypal-poetic perspective to the work. He is a professional musician with three albums to his credit, and articles published in Dreamtime Magazine, Dream Network Journal and Depth Insights E-Zine.
