What if science has it all wrong?  What if we live in an electric universe?  Many of the greats from Nikola Tesla, Kristian Birkeland and Hannes Alfvén have challenged the conventional model of the universe.  What would be the implications of such a notion--would we have to re-look and rework ALL the sciences?

Explore these ideas with Wal Thornhill,  a physicist awarded a  gold medal in 2010 by the European Telesio-Galilei Academy of Science for his work on the Electric Universe.  Wal's papers have been published in scientific journals on topics related to the electrical nature of stars and supernovas, cosmic plasma, and presented to the Natural Philosophy Alliance in a keynote lecture, "Toward a Real Cosmology in the 21st Century."

Wal Thornhill's  works and passion have been influenced by the challenge thrown down by Velikovsky and dismissed by astronomers in 1950 – that electromagnetism plays a role in orbital dynamics.  Wal was invited to attend the first international conference on the subject of Velikovsky and The Recent History of the Solar System at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, in 1974. There he met Velikovsky and subsequently visited him at his home in Princeton, NJ in 1979.  The discussion turned on the key question raised by Velikovsky's theory of recent planetary catastrophe – the real nature of gravity and its role in cosmology.  That led Wal to a re-examination of Einstein’s legacy and the electrical nature of gravity.

This promises to be an interesting perspective.
