ROBERT HAIG COXON was born in Montreal, Canada and studied composition at McGill University. Highly regarded as a multi-keyboardist, he draws on a broad range of personal, spiritual and musical experience to create his music for meditation.

ROBERT started playing piano with both hands at the age of 1 1/2. By the age of 11, he was composing his own music; by age 15 he had formed his first Rock and Roll band and at age 17 he was playing in Night clubs.

While studying Composition and Pedagogy at McGill University, he also played trombone and organ, becoming an accomplished commercial, jazz musician. He taught High School band for several years before having the urge to perform full time. He became director of a 10 piece disco band, joined an internationally known Canadian pop group and began to write for film.

In 1998 he began touring with Lee Carroll, at which time his music became the music of the KRYON work.

During the show, we will not only be speaking with ROBERT about the many layers of his music, but we will also have the opportunity to listen to and experience some of his marvelous compositions.
