Going against conventional wisdom, Stephen M. Shore, EdD will examine how the challenges attributed to individuals with autism can be reframed as strengths.  Drawing from his personal and professional experiences as well as the perspective of others with autism, Dr. Shore will offer practical solutions for considering characteristics of autism as potential springboards to success in education, employment, effective self-advocacy and meaningful engagement in the community. 

 

Join us for a discussion on how strengths can be identified and used to navigate around challenges in a variety of settings to help individuals with autism lead a fulfilling and productive life.
