Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes Jennifer Kincheloe and Lori Rader Day in an exclusive IN CONVERSATION episode.   Sitting in for Pam tonight is Blue Plate Special Radio host author Terri Lynn Coop.

 

Lori Rader-Day, author of The Black Hour and Little Pretty Things, is the recipient of the 2016 Simon and Schuster Mary Higgins Clark Award and the 2015 Anthony Award for Best First Novel. Lori’s short fiction has appeared in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Time Out Chicago, Good Housekeeping, and others. She lives in Chicago, where she teaches mystery writing at StoryStudio Chicago and serves as the president of the Mystery Writers of America Midwest Chapter. Her third novel, The Day I Died, was released by Harper Collins William Morrow April 11, 2017.

Jennifer is a research scientist turned writer of historical fiction. Her novels take place in 1900s Los Angeles among the police matrons of the LAPD and combine, mystery, history, humor, and romance. THE WOMAN IN THE CAMPHOR TRUNK will be released in November, 2017. Her debut novel, THE SECRET LIFE OF ANNA BLANC was a finalist in the Lefty Awards for Best Historical Mystery, The Colorado Author's League Award for Best Genre Fiction, the Macavity Sue Feder Award for Historical Mystery, and is the WINNER of the Mystery & Mayhem Award for Historical Mystery and the Colorado Gold for Best Mystery.
