AUTHORS ON THE AIR GUEST HOST KRISTI  BELCAMINO WELCOMES NOIR CRIME FICTION AUTHOR JEFFERY HESS TO THE STUDIO.        

Jeffery Hess is the author of the novel, Beachhead, and the editor of the award-winning anthologies Home of the Brave: Stories in Uniform, and Home of the Brave: Somewhere in the Sand. He served six years aboard the Navy’s oldest and newest ships and has held writing positions at a daily newspaper, a Fortune 500 company, and a university-based research center. He holds an MFA in creative writing from Queens University of Charlotte and his writing has appeared widely in print and online. Guest host Kristi Belcamino is a writer, reporter, and Italian-American mama who also bakes a yummy biscotti.  Along with writing mysteries, she covers the cop beat part-time at the St. Paul Pioneer Press.  As a crime reporter at newspapers in California, she flew over Big Sur in an FA-18 jet with the Blue Angels, raced a Dodge Viper at Laguna Seca and hung out at the morgue, watching autopsies and eating barbecue with the deputies who worked there.  http://www.kristibelcamino.com/
