Susan C. Shea was an executive with non-profit organizations for more than 20 years, picking up good stories along the way. In 2006, she made the break she had been dreaming of, quitting her day job to write fiction full time. She has two mystery series, the Dani O'Rourke Mysteries and (debuting from St Martin's Minotaur in May 2017) a French village mystery series. She's a member of the national board of Sisters in Crime, past president of the Norcal chapter, , and a past board member of Norcal's Mystery Writers of America.
