Deb Caletti is an award-winning author and a National Book Award finalist whose books are published and translated worldwide. Many of her books have received starred review in Publisher’s Weekly. THE QUEEN OF EVERYTHING was chosen for PSLA’s Top Forty of 2003 and the International Reading Association’s Young Adult Choices for 2004. 

Deb won a finalist award in the National Book Award, as well as the PNBA Best Book Award. She won finalist awards in the California Young Reader Medal and the PEN USA Literary Award, also the 2005 IRA Notable Book, an SSLI Book Awards Honor Book, and Best Books for the Teen Age, Chicago Library’s Best Books of 2004, and the Texas TAYSHA’s list.

Deb has consitently won acclaim with starred reviews in PW and with School Library Journal. She was a finalist for the WA State Book Award. Her books have been chosen as a NY Public Library Book for the Teenage and a RT Bookclub Magazine’s finalist for Best YA Book of 2005 and as RT Magazine’s Best YA Book of the Year.

He's Gone-Deb’s first book for adults was released from Random House in 2013. Her next release comes to us this April and that is THE LAST FOREVER.

Deb earned her journalism degree from the UW in Seattle. When Deb is not writing books or reading them, she is a painter and a lyricist, and speaks widely to audiences on writing and life as an author. Deb lives with her family in Seattle.
