What does a settlement look like with the Business Software Alliance?  By Vondran Legal® the Software Audit Defense Law Firm

The BSA is a software trade association located in Washington D.C.  They have members such as Microsoft, Autodesk and others.

When a "whistelblower" (typical situation) reports "software piracy" to them (ex. installing cracked software on your computers, laptops and servers, this can lead to one of the several BSA regional law firms sending you a software audit demand letter.

If you receive such a letter, call us for a free initial consultation.  They have lawyers on their side and having an experienced copyright lawyer on your team can be helpful.  This podcast looks at the audit starting with the Settlement Agreement and typical terms you can expect to see.  This can be very important to know so you know what you are getting yourself into, and how to best prepare to respond to the audit letter.
