Lloyd Marcus, singer/songwriter and activist, kicked off a Black Conservatives Speak Out the press conference with a song at the National Press Club in Washington DC. this morning. Among those participating in the two-hour event were former presidential candidate Alan Keyes; nationally syndicated radio host Herman Cain; Political consultant and book author Kevin Jackson of the Black Conservative Coalition; Christian political activist and author Selena Owens and William Owens, publisher; Musician and martial artist Alfonzo Rachel; Mychal Massie, Chairman of the National Leadership Network of Black Conservatives-Project 21; Robert Broadus, Republican candidate for congress in the 4th Districtic of Maryland.
