Cynthia Wilson, "Battered But Not Broken"

Playwright, Cynthia Wilson has brought the taboo subject of Domestic Violence into the light by way of her play, "Battered But Not Broken" The play debuted in Charleston, W.VA. in August 2012. It has garnered the attention of Director, Producer and Playwright, Shelley Garrett.  I had the pleasure of being introduced to Cynthia Wilson just this morning by way of a series of coincidences of recent. Cynthia Wilson is an accomplished woman of the Sciences who is on an inspired mission to break the silence of Domestic Viiolence. Now it is up to all of us to participate in change. One in four women will experience domestic violence. One in three women is murdered by her intimate partner be it boyfriend or husband. These numbers are based on what we do know and does not include those shrouded in fear and silence. Do not just listen to the show - take action.
