Mr. Roger D. Masters, PhD. As a research specialist, he examines the relationship between the increasing ratio of ADD and ADHD cases to escalating exposure of lead in ordinary water. 

Former studies, Tuthill (1996), established similar findings, discovering a community with a large percentage of children diagnosed with ADHD that also had high levels of lead absorbed. These toxic metals are known to downregulate multiple neurotransmitters, such as dopamine; part source to the inhibitory function of the basal ganglia.
