Joanne Widness, the owner and founder of Chilly Dog, located in Ashland, Oregon. 

Chilly Dog is a brand name that pet owners have now come to love; providing quality pet beds for the home, and for traveling needs. The beds accommodate dogs of various sizes, are washable, light-weight, and include built-in blankets.

 

During her entrepreneurial journey, Ms. Widness was an educator. Now retired, she holds over 33 years of experience in education. She was an associate professor of physical education at Southern Oregon University for 23 years, and coached volleyball and tennis for over 13 years.  She worked closely with students majoring in physical education, supervised student teachers, and taught an assortment of service classes.
