Ashford Publishing Radio Presents Barbara Morrison

Ms. Morrison is an Associate Professor at Ursuline College. She teaches Theories for Nursing, Research methodologies for clinical practice, Cultural competence, as well as other educational interests.

 

Her consulting company, Dr. Barb CNN, research studies are in ‘kangaroo (skin-to-skin) care with full-term healthy newborns’ and ‘interruptions to the breastfeeding dyad during the early postpartum period’. She received her BA in Biology, at the College of Wooster in Ohio, a BS in Nursing at Columbia University in New York, a MN in Primary Healthcare at the University of Washington, a Post-Masters Certificate in Nurse Midwifery, and her PhD in Nurse Midwifery/Maternal Child Nursing at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
