Ashford Publishing Radio Presents Harold Patin

In 1965, Mr. Patin joined the Federal Bureau of Narcotics Treasury Department, which at that time, mostly targeted heroin. He then went on to the Bureau of Drug Abuse Control, which pursued both stimulants and depressants as well as psychedelic drugs. In 1972, he was assigned to the office of Drug Abuse Law Enforcement (ODALE), under President Richard Nixon, and was commissioned as a Special Agent in Charge of the ODALE Task Force in New Orleans.

 

After his retirement, various companies sought his expertise to better train their staff and to execute drug detection programs.
