Today we welcome back to the show the incomparable, Vocal Sound Healer Gwendolyn McClure. Dr. Gwendolyn McClure did her undergraduate work in Religious Studies at Princeton University. In 1990, she received her M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Within one month of receiving that degree, she claims she was “star-seeded” with her work in Vocal Sound Healing. After one year of leading workshops, Gwendolyn entered her doctoral program in Clinical Psychology in order to write a dissertation on her work (Pacifica 1998)*. Her primary desire in entering her doctoral program was to create an academic and intellectual grounding for this profound and new therapeutic modality she had created. She observed in one year the powerful effects of her work, and strove to better communicate with clients and audiences about how the passive and active use of Vocal Sound in the context of Healing can transform consciousness and physical matter.

Gwendolyn has just launched her Indiegogo campaign to produce her first CD, Songs For the Earth!!  On this cd are many original songs which she wrote, as well as beautiful Earth songs of others.  One song she wrote is called "On the Wind," written on top of Cathedral Rock in Sedona, AZ in 2008. Another song she wrote on the CD is called "Gentle Rain," which she composed under the spell of a gentle rain whilst sitting on a log overhanging the Sespe River outside Ojai, CA in 1994.  Each song honors the Earth in a special way.
