Billy Broome is lead vocalist and guitarist from the band Silo Road.
Silo Road is a honky-tonkin' Americana/ Texicana band headquartered out of Austin, Texas.
Formed in late 2012, Silo Road evolved from an acoustic Roots act paying homage to classic Texas artists into the live electric band they are today. Their emphasis on well-crafted storylines, and dynamic song elements has helped them develop a unique sound.
Silo Road has performed at events such as Viva Big Bend Festival and Texas Music Magazine SXSW party alongside such artists as Gary P. Nunn and Los Lonely Boys, and have been profiled in Texas Music magazine. The band has shared stages with contemporary artists such as Flatland Cavalry, Aaron Einhouse, Tejas Brothers, Ryan Beaver, and Shane Smith and the Saints, as well as opening for such acts as Gary P. Nunn, Bart Crow, Jason Eady,and Roger Creager.
Silo Road plays regularly at Austin clubs such as The White Horse, Threadgill's, Continental Club, and Saxon Pub, as well as other popular venues across Texas and beyond.
