An ascending artist with a radiant spirit: On her new EP, Songs for You, Danielle Aument’s modern musical vision is illuminated by the bright promise of a shining future. The collection includes her debut iTunes single “Stronger Now,” an introduction to a dedicated songwriter and a vibrant pop performer.

Danielle came to music as a performer in local musical theater productions near her hometown, then in professional productions in Chicago, and eventually a member of a national touring cast of Evita who enlisted local talent. Although she enjoyed these theatrical experiences, she was drawn to the intimate styles of singer-songwriters. She laughs as she recalls recording her initial “dinky little song.” But by eighth grade when she received her first guitar, she began writing in earnest.
