Revelation on Interpretation of Revelation 17: Seven Mountains of Rome

John saw arisal of a great and abominable church: Q. What are we to understand by the woman sitting upon the beast with seven heads and ten horns of Revelation 17? A. Thus saith the Lord, the woman represents a great and abominable church which John saw, which became the state religion of Rome, thus apostate Christianity sat astride the beast being the the Mother of Harlots, the harlots being the sects or denominations of modern Christiantiy: baptist, methodist, presbyterrean, etc. which mother adopted pagan holidays, vestal virgins (nuns), mother goddess worship (Ishtar became mother Mary), pontif is a title from a pagan king who becstowed the same on Roman emperors, and shed the blood of the martryrs of Jesus. Q. What are we to understand by the seven heads and ten horns of the beast which the woman rode? A. Thus saith the Lord, the seven represent the seven mountains or hills of the city of Rome and also seven kings. The ten horns on the sixth head (Rome) are the ten European nations which were to arise and did arise from Rome, being partly iron and partly clay mixed, representing the fragmented state of the European nations which worshipped the beast. Q. What are six of the seven Kings which the seven heads represent? A. Thus saith the Lord: Nimrod, Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus the Great, Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar Q. What is meant by the "seven mountains on which the woman sitteth" spoken of in the ninth verse? A. These are the seven hills of the city of Rome: Aventine, Caelian, Capitoline, Esquiline, Palatine, Quirinal, Viminal, saith the Lord.
