Dr. Darren Naugles is an Emergency Medicine Physician with the Emerginet Group. He currently practices in the Dept. of Northside Hospital Cherokee. Naugles graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Clark Atlanta University, assisted by the Howard Hughes Scholarship program. Following this he attended Boston University, where he received his Doctor of Medicine in 2001. His residency in Emergency Medicine was completed at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC.
Dr. Naugles enjoys supporting undeserved populations and in addition to the patients he serves at Northside Cherokee he occasionally works with the United States Indian Health Service in the Emergency department at Gallup Indian Medical Center in New Mexico. There he serves a poor population challenged by the multitude of health issues exacerbated by poverty, including alcohol-related diseases; depression, including teen suicide; and limited access to healthcare.
Committed to making a difference to underserved communities in Atlanta Naugles is looking to launch into new endeavors in 2013 with the establishment of a Wellness and Weight Management Center in South Atlanta.
Naugles is married and raising his two children with his wife, Lisa Nicole Cloud-Naugles, in the Duluth Area.
