Founded in 1995 to bring the goodness of Home-Baked to everyone, Grandma’s Secrets was named in 1997 by The New York Daily News as Critic’s Choice for desserts in New York, and has been featured in numerous publications such as the Daily News “Front Burner”, New York Post’s “New York Works”, The New York Times “Food Section”, Time Out New York, Bakery Production and Marketing Magazine.We were also featured in Time Out New York, Harlem special, and even named one of New York's top bakeries by New York Magazine Wedding Special, 2003 and 2004. Grandma has been a guest on numerous radio shows such as The Tony Brown Show, “Rambling with Gambling”, The Joan Hamburg and Arthur Schwartz Food Show, to name a few, and appeared on such television shows as Food Network’s “In Food Today”, the Today Show, Good Day New York, New York 1 Entertainment and Living Report, and Fox Five News. We have provided birthday cakes for blues legend B.B. King, fashion mogul Tommy Hilfiger, hip-hop star Heavy-D, and R&B legend Luther VanDross. And people have been hit in the face with our pies on shows such as “Where in the World is Carmen Santiago” and HBO Comedy Specials.
