Willie is a New Orleans native. He attended Walter L Cohen Senior High School. After graduating from Walter L Cohen, he continued his education at Xavier University of New Orleans.
In 1998 Willie graduated with a degree in Social Studies Education / Secondary Ed. For 9 years he has taught in the public school system. Besides working as an educator, Willie is also very active in the community.
He is the Minister of Mosque number #46 in New Orleans, La. Min. Willie walk the streets of New Orleans, LA reaching our the youth. Please join him right here on Nurturing Our Roots with host Antoinette Harrell.
