The Unsung Pioneers of Tangipahoa & St. Helena Parish, LA

Out of sight of  mind is what can happen if we don't commemorate the legacies of our ancestors who were pioneers. Our ancestors were pioneers who paved the way as pathfinder from the shadows of  former slaves, They became educators, inventors, soldiers, farmers, doctors and entrepreneurs.  Many of our ancestors help build and form St.Helena & Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. When I think of Jasper Harrell, Sr, Alexander Richardson, Mrs. Forchia Wilson, Mr. O.W. Dillion, Dr. Thomas, Tucker, Bishop Willie K.
