This is an excellent display of toxic masculinity dressed up as "concern." Do these men feel Trayvon Martin's "thug" hoodie means Zimmerman wasn't guilty of murder? Do men who dress like "thugs" deserve to be shot as dogs in the streets, simply for their attire? Toxic Masculinity disables men from being protectors. Men who are the diminished masculine will always design and cosign excuses to keep the Divine Feminine wounded, thus small enough to fit into his patri-focal world.
