The Civil Rights Movement – We really do need to start here!

In the big scheme of things and for Blacks, not much has happened since then for us.  There have been many who have fronted being Black leaders, but the results are fruitiness!  So we really do need to go back, take a look at and take into our hearts the struggles of those who lay life on the line and really did make a difference for us.  Thank God they did. 

We will give you knowledge about the Sit Ins, Bus Boycotts and the Freedom Riders… the end result being the Civil Rights Act and the promise of a better life for Blacks, all women and all minorities.  It is my hope to not only deepen your knowledge be to deepen your appreciation for them in such a way that it will motivate YOU in doing the same for our next generation.  Join me…let’s talk about how we can.

If you do not know how to act and what to do, that is one thing and we are here to discuss that with you.  If you DO KNOW, well, then do what you know.  Let’s all do a better job of taking care of our children.

August is CHILD SUPPORT AWARENESS MONTH.  They are emphasizing the importance of maintaining a peaceful environment for your child in your home.   I lived with a very violent family member for a portion of my children’s young life and I can confess, no matter what you do to stop it, play it off …whatever… JUST ELIMINATE IT!
