Introducing the AAASM Diary - AAASM Diary hits! There is no shortage of issues with respect to the Black community. This Sunday on the Diary I think I have more topics than time. So many things went down this week in America and in my personal life and I want to discuss it all! I have to give a little insight on my love life, something I thought was DEAD and something being rediscovered. All the names have been changed to protect the innocent. LOL We will continue with our discussion on the Doll Test and we will look forward to solutions! We will discuss what parents need to do on a daily basis to in essence help Black children learn to love who they are. We need to also actively give White America the clue that they need to teach their children as well. I finally had a chance to look at Morgan Freeman’s “Invictus”, the story about Nelson Mandela and his fight to bring South Africa together through the sport of Rugby. I think it says a lot about the man Mandela and teaches a lesson America could grow from right now in our history. May God Bless Clint Eastwood for his insight in making the movie and Morgan Freeman for his outstanding performance and shame on the Academy for not acknowledging both. American’s Black & White need to watch that flick! We will discuss how America is at a breaking point now as Mandela was back then. Who is our leader here as he was there? I have to also share my experience with my Black Brother “Dollar”, who I net on a walk to the store, told him how the White man sees him as a target and if he would just do me a favor and clean up a little at take that target of his back! Less than 24..I saw him he did and shared how his wife was so happy and how when they went out he wore a button down shirt. More than that, he looked so PROUD for what he had done! I want to share that with you because in my HEART of HEARTs that is a personal victory for me! Too much to mention and new great music…Join in!
