Introducing the AAASM Diary - AAASM Diary hits! There is no shortage of issues with respect to the Black community. Today on The Diary, we will take a look back at the History of St. Patrick’s Day and how it came to be so celebrated in America. We will also have a brief discussion on two very significant books. “Brainwashed” by Tom Burrell discusses the fact that Blacks have bought into Black Inferiority to our own demise and we don’t even realize it. We will also discuss “The Big Short” by Michael Lewis. Mr. Lewis books details his research of the financial meltdown in America and how investors foresaw the meltdown and profited from it anyway We will also discuss the article written by Kwaku Person-Lynn PhD detailing the facts that show that major record companies manipulated Black Control of Black music. And we will continue in our discussion of A Common Destiny: Blacks & American Society. We will look at the following statement made in the article: “Under conditions of increasing hardship, for the least prosperous members of society, Blacks, because of their special legacy of poverty and discrimination, are afflicted sooner, more deeply and longer” And as always, we will have special music and tell you what’s happening at the AAASM.
