Introducing the AAASM Diary - AAASM Diary hits! There is no shortage of issues with respect to the Black community. AAASM Diary tackles issues of the day, issues that Blacks should be aware of, contemplate on and take action on! The AAASM Diary focuses on everyday issues, looks through the smoke to reveal the effects on the Black community. Join us this Sunday as we discuss the work of the Southern Poverty Law Center in our “Did you know my Brother?” segment. We will discuss why they are important and why Blacks should follow what they are doing. We will also discuss the significance of having a “Black History Month”. Is it significant? And lastly, should Black children be given the option of taking Black History classes in elementary school? We will ask my co-host Rae, what it takes to get something like that written into law? Will Morris call in? We hope he does and you do too on Sunday at 917-889-9946. Remember, this week our show goes to one hour. We will also feature some beautiful African melodies. We hope you will join us!
