ASA,

By now, you should know that a mistrial has been declared in the first case, involving Officer William Porter, in the case, involving the death of Freddie Gray, of Baltimore, who died, in varying levels of involvement, at the hand of 6 BPD officers.

What seemed to be an open and shut case to many, has at this point, left anger and bitterness in the minds of many, as a guilty verdict was not rendered.

While this decision does not constitute exoneration, by any stretch of the imagination, one can only guess that the eventual retrial, as well as the other 5, will be charged with emotion, anticipation and intense scrutiny, and depending on one's vantage point, a testament to the sense of justice for victims of police brutality, or a misguided desire to deny a police officer, the benefit of a doubt, in his or hers aim to serve and protect, in an honorable manner.

We will also cover a very disturbing trend of rape, committed by soldiers, who have no sense of decency or humanity, or respect thereof, for their victims, primarily female.

What has happened in Iraq and Uganda, where precious lives are being destroyed? While the physical lives may be spared, the mental, spiritual and physical scars may never be salvaged.

We may have a special guest, to help to more insight on this issue.
