In this episode we continue the discussion from Part 1.   On last week's show we discussed the definition of forgiveness & examined the effect of anger on emotional/ physical healh. The data on benefits of forgiveness was reviewed. Tips for initiating forgiveness were discussed &listeners were led thru a guided  exercise to learn the principles of  removing unforgiveness, grudges and anger.

This week  we will examine why we don't forgive. Plus more tips & tools for forgiveness,and also an examination of self-forgiveness.

On these forgiveness shows we will look at the meaning of forgiveness and least 4 ways to forgive.

Why forgive? Forgiveness definitely gives you peace and is good for your health. Benefits include better physical disease, reduced heart disease, improved blood pressure, better psychological wellbeing, less depression and drug and alcohol abuse. People who forgive typically have happier and healthier relationships. There is less stress, anxiety and hostility, more compassion, and better spiritual health. In, other words a happier, healthier more prosperous life. You get your life and power back.

What is the downside of holding onto anger and grudges? It can drain yours and others' vitality and creativity, because you are be obsessed with the event. Some people get stuck in resentment and bitterness and miss the good things in life.  Anger turned inword can lead to depression. And much more.
