Barbara Levenson. Author Fatal February Barbara Levenson has lived in Miami for the past 32 years. A cum laude graduate of the University of Miami Law School, Barbara has served as a prosecutor and run her own law practice where she focused on criminal defense and civil rights litigation. Barbara was elected to a judgeship in the circuit court of Miami-Dade County, where she still serves as a senior judge. Born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Barbara was raised in Columbus, Ohio. She was the first woman elected to the Columbus Board of Education, and later served as the Board’s first female president. Barbara was also the first woman to be named the Ohio Newspaper’s “Man of the Year.” Sharon Potts Author In Their Blood Sharon Potts is a former business executive, entrepreneur, CPA, and soccer mom. A native of New York, Potts graduated from New York University’s Stern School of Business. Before migrating to Miami, Potts worked in public accounting. In Miami, Potts served as a managing director of an international staffing company and president of an executive search/accounting recruitment firm. An active member of the Mystery Writers of America, Potts has served as the treasurer of the Florida chapter, and as co-chair of SleuthFest, Mystery Writers of America’s annual conference. Potts is also a member of the International Thriller Writers. Sharon Potts has two grown children and lives in Miami Beach with her husband, Joe. In Their Blood is her first novel.
